ROSE SELECTIONS

It's been a while since my last post, but I've been busy with house restoration work, as well as, doing my homework on which roses to purchase for my new rose garden. In fact, I am working on three rose gardens simultaneaously; one of ancient varieties for my cabin in the San Bernardino mountains, a 1900's favorites for the Doctor's House Museum in Glendale, and an English and French rose garden for my home.
In the spring I will photograph each rose to show you the progress, but for now I will list my selections:
For the mountain rose garden: Louise Odier (Bourbon 1851), Konigen Von Danemark (Alba 1826), Baronne Prevost (HP 1842), Autumn Damask (Ancient 30 BC), Fantin-Latour (Centifolia), Marchesa Boccella (HP 1842), Rosa Mundi (Gallica 1581), Mademoiselle Sombreuil (Tea 1832), Duchesse de Rohan (Portland 1848)
For the Doctor's House Museum: American Beauty (HP 1875), Hermosa (Old China 1837), Reine Victoria (Bourbon 1872), Monsieur Tillier (Tea 1891), Marie Pavie (Polyantha 1888), Salet (Moss 1854)
